Daiane Dias, a former wife of Francisco Wanderley Luiz, the author of the attack on the Supreme Court of Justice, passed away on Tuesday, 3rd, after 16 days in the ICU.

According to the police, she intentionally set fire to her home in Rio do Sul (SC) and suffered severe burns of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees all over her body.

The incident occurred on November 17th, four days after the attack committed by Tiü França, known as the “Supreme Court of Justice” attacker.

The death was confirmed by the Santa Catarina Health Department. Daiane was hospitalized at the Tereza Ramos Hospital, in Lages, a reference unit for burn treatment.

“The hospital’s management informs that the patient passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, November 3rd, due to complications in her health condition. The death was promptly reported to the family and the Santa Catarina Forensic Police was notified”.
